The California Asian-Pacific Chamber of Commerce hosted the Seventh Annual How to Do Business in the Pacific Rim conference on Friday, October 12, in partnership with Sacramento MBDA Export Center, San Francisco State University, College of Business, International Trade Administra-tion, and the U.S. Commercial Service.
This event brought together international trade professionals and small businesses owners to discuss the emerging trends in global trade and how technology is changing the way business is conducted today.
The audience of nearly 90 attendees included representatives from Asian-Pacific Islander business community service pro-viders, consultants, small business owners, CalAsian Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, educators, tax and compli-ance professionals, regulatory offices, and government agencies.
Attendees enjoyed a networking lunch with exhibitors, such as CalAsian Chamber of Commerce, Sacramento MBDA Export Center, San Francisco State University, College of Busi-ness, U.S. Commercial Service, Small Business Administration, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Kotra, Jetro, Califor-nia Center, Deloitte, Delta Air Lines, and Cathay Bank. The net-working session allowed small businesses to meet and make meaningful connections with agencies to help grow or ex-pand their business.
