Vice-President of External Affairs for AT&T California, Kathy leads the company’s Statewide Constituency Relations organization and Operations. Her 29-year career at AT&T includes positions in Marketing, Sales, Operations and External Affairs. Kathy received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Public Affairs from the University of Denver and her MBA from the University of San Francisco. She has also completed Data Communications certifications from within AT&T and at UC Berkeley.
Kathy was appointed by the Governor to the California Volunteer Commission in 2014. She is currently a board member for City Year Sacramento, Teach for America and College Track. She is an active board member of the California Asian Chamber and St. John’s Program for Real Change and a partner with Social Venture Partners focused on improving education outcomes for students. She has received the Sacramento Business Journal Women Who Mean Business Award and is a senior fellow through the Mountain Valley Chapter of American Leadership Forum. Kathy has been recognized for her work in the areas of education and mentoring. She serves as a mentor for many young professionals both internal to AT&T and externally in the community.
She is an avid runner, enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
