Bill Imada is the founder, chairman and chief collaboration officer of IW Group, a marketing communications, advertising and public relations firm specializing in the growing Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities. For more than two decades, Bill and his team have represented some of the top global, national and regional brands, including American Airlines, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s USA, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Southern California Edison, Verizon Wireless, Walmart Stores, Walt Disney Imagineering, Warner Bros. Pictures, and many others. IW Group also represents several foundations, governmental agencies and nonprofit groups, including AARP and The California Wellness Foundation.
Bill is active in the community and serves on several boards and advisory councils, including the Advertising Educational Foundation, Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, California Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce, Center for Asian American Media, Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment, LAGRANT Foundation, and many others. Most recently, Bill was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
